Our Story

The Heart of Haiti, Delivered to Your Door

Lakay Markets was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to bridge the distance between the vibrant heart of Haitian local commerce and the global community that cherishes it. We saw the incredible craftsmanship, the rich flavors, and the unique products that were the lifeblood of local markets, and we knew the world needed to experience them.

Founded by a team with deep roots in Haiti, our mission is to empower local sellers, artisans, and entrepreneurs by providing them with a world-class platform to showcase their goods. We are more than just a marketplace; we are a celebration of Haitian culture, resilience, and creativity.

Every purchase you make on Lakay Markets directly supports a small business owner in Haiti, contributing to sustainable local economies and preserving the rich heritage of Haitian craftsmanship. We are committed to fair trade, ethical sourcing, and creating a transparent and trustworthy connection between you and the talented individuals behind every product.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected future for Haiti.
